Quick flow

1. The host creates a room, chooses the measuring style, and decides which options are available for that session.
2. Players join from any browser, choose a display name, and appear in People in room before voting starts.
3. The host can optionally open the balloon lobby game while everyone arrives, then close it and start the round when ready.
4. When the host presses New round, the title in the text field becomes the live ticket name and players get a short countdown.
5. Players vote privately. Everyone can see who already voted, but not which value they picked.
6. The app auto-reveals when all players have voted, or the host can reveal early.
7. The team reviews the mode, checks the distribution, optionally adjusts the historic result, and starts the next round.
8. When the session finishes, the host sees a summary with totals, metrics, and the list of groomed tickets and final points.

Round rhythm

Before the round

Use the room lobby to gather the team, open the balloon game if you want a waiting-room activity, and make sure the ticket title is ready.

While voting

Players can vote from any supported scale. The host sees who has voted, and players see the same vote-state feedback in People in room.

After reveal

Review the mode, distribution, and whether the team reached a perfect match. Historic results stay available and can be edited by the host if the team agrees on an adjusted final number.

At the end

Finish session shows a complete summary: timing, totals, metrics by player, and a ticket table you can use to annotate results outside the app.

Private votes until reveal

Votes stay hidden while the round is live. People in room only shows who has voted, not the vote itself.

Fast round resets

The host can move straight into the next round from the same panel without a separate save step for the title.

Host and players stay distinct

Changing the URL does not grant host access. Host-only actions are protected, while players can still vote normally from their own screens.

Summaries are practical

Historic votes, player metrics, session totals, Jira ticket context, and the final ticket table all stay accessible at the end.

Lobby game is optional

Use the mini-game as a light waiting-room activity before estimating. It is shared by everyone and the host can close it instantly.

Results are easier to read

Reveal buckets are centered, ordered by the most-voted option first, and use scale-specific visuals for Fibonacci, T-shirt, and Hours.
